Terms of service

The conditions under which this beta is made available.

Last updated 19 July 2026

Beta

This is a working beta shown for evaluation. It is not a live service, it has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it must not be used by real children. The text below describes exactly how the beta behaves today so that nothing here is a promise we do not keep.

What this is

This is a beta provided for evaluation. It is offered as it stands, with no warranty, and it may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Data in the beta may be reset. Do not put anything here that you would be unhappy to lose.

Who may use it

An account must be created by an adult. A child uses the service only through a profile created by their parent or guardian, who confirms consent before the child can start.

The consent screen in this beta records a placeholder only: it does not verify anyone’s identity and would not satisfy a real verifiable-parental-consent requirement.

What the assistant is not

Replies are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. Nothing here is teaching, medical, legal or psychological advice, and it does not replace a teacher, a doctor or a parent.

This is not an emergency service. If a child is in danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States call or text 988; in Canada, Kids Help Phone is 1-800-668-6868.

Safety checks are best effort

Every message is screened before a reply is shown, and replies are screened before a child sees them. These checks are designed to fail closed — when something goes wrong they refuse rather than let content through.

They are not perfect and are not a substitute for adult supervision. Reviewing your child’s activity remains your responsibility.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to use the service to reach content that is harmful to children, to bypass its safety checks, or to disrupt it for others.

Accounts may be suspended without notice if they are used in those ways.

Schools

The school features are demonstrable but incomplete: the agreements, licensing and compliance work that a school deployment requires have not been done. Do not rely on them for a live classroom.
